FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Antonio, TX – Localism, Inc., a premiere consulting firm advocating for social and economic issues at the government, nonprofit, and private sectors, has received its first national minority business certification from The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
“As the exclusive private sector certifying organization for LGBTQ-owned businesses, we are proud to recognize Localism, Inc. as an LGBT Business Enterprise,” said NGLCC Co-Founder and President Justin Nelson. “We applaud Localism, Inc.’s efforts to address historical and systemic issues that impact socially and culturally diverse communities through their work and impact.”
Localism, Inc.’s founder, C. LeRoy Cavazos Reyna is an avid small business advocate and firm believer that business certifications are a crucial step in the journey to business development and growth. Now a certified LGBT Business Enterprise, Localism, Inc. is being assessed by National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and DisabilityIN to receive two additional business certifications for being a Hispanic and disability-owned business.
“I am proud to be involved as an advocate in the LGBTQ+ community, this certification will allow Localism to grow and be recognized as a thought leader in the LGBTQ+ business community,” said Cavazos-Reyna. “Having multiple entities certify your business allows entrepreneurs to access procurement opportunities in government and corporate America, two sectors that are still spending more with non-minority firms.”
Launched this past August, Localism, Inc. supports a variety of local, national, and international clients to reach their government affairs, procurement, diversity, equity and inclusion goals. The firm is an active member of multiple networks that welcome, empower, and provide opportunities for diverse businesses at multiple levels. Furthermore, Localism aims to help other businesses acquire their respective certifications, this is one of Localism’s core services.
Localism will continue to advocate for business certification entry points to facilitate the ability of entrepreneurs to become certified and leverage those certifications to impact economic growth in America and abroad.
